Daily Loss -  0 lbs
Total Loss - 8.2 lbs

I was down to 254 yesterday. Stayed the same today.
I expect a bigger loss tomorrow.

Nothing new to report.  Just wanted to check in to record my progress.
I've told a lot of people about my diet.  I want to remain accountable.

Back on Track

Monday 10/21/13
Weight - 262.2
Ketosis - Negative

OK. I had a death in the family so i was not able to officially start the PSMF until 10/21/13.
So as my subtitle proclaims, I have been able to keep off the weight for 4 years!

Monday I started out with 2 oz. of grass fed, lean ground beef for breakfast. I also had 1 egg cooked with Pam non stick spray and some plain broccoli slaw with a splash of balsamic vinegar.

For lunch and snack I had 3 oz. of boneless, skinless chicken thigh meat and 3.5 oz. of uncooked broccoli slaw each time.  I know it sounds boring but I am just trying to get into ketosis so my body will start burning fat. 

For dinner I had 4 oz. of the same ground beef and 3.5 oz. of baby kale.  
I got hungry around 8pm and had 1 boiled egg. That's it! 

The other thing I had was my supplements: calcium, magnesium, potassium and a multivitamin.

Tuesday 10/22/13

Ketosis - Negative
Daily Loss -  3.4 lbs
Diet was a repeat of Monday. Really tired in the afternoon. Drank lots of caffeine. Drank a couple of servings of bouillon cubes to help replenish electrolytes.

Wednesday 10/23/13
Weight 256.8
Ketosis - Trace
Daily Loss -  2 lbs
Energy Level:  Better

Breakfast: 1 egg, 2 oz. lean ground beef, 1 serving green beans (Don't remember how many ounces... I think it says 3.5 oz in my PSMF material.)

Lunch: 5 oz. grass fed chuck roast prepared in crock pot with baby carrots.  Ate 3 oz. of the baby carrots.

Dinner: 5 oz. boneless skinless chicken thigh, onions (no limit), jalapenos (no limit), 3.5 oz swiss chard.

Snack: 2 boiled eggs, raw broccoli slaw w/ balsamic vinegar.

Beverages: bouillon cubes before and after lunchtime workout (back, biceps 45 min.), coffee, sparkling water with DaVinci sugar free.

Sorry for the abbreviated report .... it's been a long 3 days but I'm down 5.4 lbs as of this morning!

I'm Back :)

It's been a long time but I need to get back on my diet.  I'm still hovering around 260 lbs.  I won't go over all of the details of the Protein Sparing Modified Fast again but you can read all about it in previous posts.  A lot has happened since my last post.  I won't fill you all in now but I'll try to hit some of the highlights over the next couple of months.   

My official start date will be this Monday,  September 23, 2013.  I'll post my before pictures, measurements, etc...  I'll also post my ketosis readings, recipes, and any and all information I can share along my next 90 day adventure to permanent weight loss.  Stay tuned!
